MDL Defendants Want Plaintiffs' Original X-Rays Preserved

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - A group of defendants have petitioned the MDL court to have all plaintiffs' original X-rays preserved at their current storage location so that they may be used in future litigation. In Re: Silica Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1553 (S.D. Texas).
According to a motion filed Aug. 10 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, the defendants want an order requiring preservation of the original X-rays so that they won't have to create additional depositories once the cases are sent back to Mississippi state court.
