LOS ANGELES -- More than 30 new welding fume lawsuits were filed in recent months in state and federal courts across the country, all asserting neurological injury as a result of exposure to manganese in welding fumes.
Nearly 20 of the lawsuits were filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court, but have not yet been transferred to the Alameda Superior Court where the California coordinated proceedings are currently pending.
