Airco Removes Case, Says Plaintiff's Alleged Exposure Occurred at Federal Air Force Base

MARSHALL, Texas - Several defendants have removed a welding fume case to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, saying that the plaintiff's alleged exposure occurred on a federal air force base. Bullard v. Airco Inc., et al. No. 2:05-cv-307 (E.D. Texas.).
Plaintiff Wallace Reed Bullard sued Airco Inc., Esab Group, Hobart Brothers Company, Lincoln Electric Co., McKay Welding Products, Unibraze Inc. and Select Arc Inc. in the 76/276th Judicial District Court in Morris County, Texas. Bullard claims that he was exposed to dangerous welding fumes at the Randolph Air Force Base in Texas.
