La. Welding Fume Defendants Say Plaintiffs' Claims are Vague and Improper




NEW ORLEANS - Defendants named in several recently remanded welding fume lawsuits have filed dilatory exceptions, saying the plaintiffs' claims are vague and improper. Bailey, et al, v. A.O. Smith Corporation, et al. Docket No. 04-873. (La. Civ. D., Parish of Orleans).

A.O. Smith Corp. and several other defendants have in recent months filed dilatory exceptions in the Louisiana Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans. The defendants claim that the plaintiffs 'lump all [the] defendants together and fail to allege material facts [emphasis original].'
