Thermadyne and Stoody Move to Dismiss Six Ohio Plaintiffs' Claims in Welding Rod MDL

CLEVELAND - Defendants Stoody Co. and Thermadyne Holding Corp. have moved to dismiss six Ohio complaints filed against them, citing the plaintiffs' failure to produce fact sheets by the extended deadline. In re Welding Fume Products Liability Litigation. MDL Docket No. 1535. (N.D. Ohio).

The May 19 motion filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio said that despite several extensions, the plaintiffs failed to provide fact sheets 'or even offer an explanation for why they have not done so.'
