SAN FRANCISCO - The law firm made famous by the film 'Erin Brockovich' has entered an appearance in a silica personal injury lawsuit filed in San Francisco by a former quarry worker who claims he suffers from silicosis and other alleged occupational diseases. Dye v. Caterpillar Equipment, Inc., et al., No. 04-436109 (Calif. Super. Ct., San Francisco Cty.).
According to a Substitution of Attorney filed last month in San Francisco County Superior Court, the law firm of Masry & Vititoe has taken over as counsel for plaintiff Donald W. Dye.
