California Defendant Claims Plaintiffs' Master Complaint Insufficient

OAKLAND, Calif. -- A defendant named in the coordinated welding rod proceedings has filed a demurrer to the plaintiffs' master complaint, claiming that the plaintiff has yet to prove that its claims are not barred by the statute of limitations. Welding Product Cases, JCCP No. 4368 (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).
In a May 5 demurrer filed in the California Superior Court for Alameda County, defendant Rankin Industries claims that the plaintiffs' master complaint is uncertain and fails to state sufficient facts.
