CLEVLAND -- Plaintiffs involved in the Welding Rod Products Liability Litigation MDL have opposed a number of motions to preclude expert testimony proffered by the defendants, arguing that the expert witnesses are fully qualified to testify on the assortment of matters. In re: Welding Rod Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1535 (N.D. Ohio).
The defendants quickly responded to the plaintiffs' April 18 oppositions, filing replies in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio on April 29, reasserting that the expert witnesses offered by the plaintiffs will offer opinions in areas outside of their expertise.
