MDL Judge Schedules Second Trial, Continues First Trial

CLEVELAND -- U.S. District Judge Kathleen M. O'Malley has changed the date of the first trial to take place in the Welding Rod Products Liability Litigation MDL to Aug. 29, in addition to designating the plaintiff whose claims will be heard in the second trial. In re: Welding Rod Products Liability Liitgation, MDL Docket No. 1535 (N.D. Ohio).

In a May 2 scheduling order entered in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, Judge O'Malley ordered the trial of plaintiff Dewey Morgan's claims to begin on Oct. 31.
