HAZLEHURST, Miss. - Defendants in a Mississippi silica suit have reportedly backed off a motion to dismiss the case after plaintiffs argued that the case was filed in Mississippi because the plaintiff currently lives there and has standing to sue under the state's long-arm statute. Wilson v. Clark Sand Co., et al., No. 2002-0451 (Miss. Cir. Ct., Copiah Cty.).
