ANGLETON, Texas -- Jury selection in the retrial of a Texas man's welding rod claims began April 11 in the 23rd District Court for Brazoria County, sources told HarrisMartin Publishing. Presler, et al., v. Lincoln Electric, et al., No. 23472 (Texas 23rd Dist. Ct., Brazoria Cty.).
Plaintiffs Ronald Presler's first trial ended in February in a hung jury. Presler is a former welder who claimed his neurological disorder was caused by exposure to manganese fumes.
