CLEVELAND -- On April 18, the judge overseeing the Welding Rod Products Liability Litigation MDL will begin hearing arguments on motions to exclude Parkinson's disease testimony, sources told HarrisMartin Publishing. In re: Welding Rod Products Liability Litigation, MDL Docket No. 1535 (N.D. Ohio).
Judge Kathleen M. O'Malley of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio will also oversee Daubert hearings starting May 2. Sources indicated that Judge O'Malley has allotted six weeks for those hearings. The hearings on motions to exclude Parkinson's diseae testimony will take two weeks, sources said.
