MDL Defendants Move to Exclude Testimony Regarding Manganese Exposure, Specific Experts

CLEVLAND -- Defendants involved in the Welding Rod Products Liability Litigation MDL have moved to exclude several of the plaintiffs' expert witnesses testimony in areas ranging from toxicology to epidemiology. In re: Welding Rod Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1535 (N.D. Ohio).
In a motion filed March 25 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the defendants additionally requested that various testimony addressing mild-steel welding fume exposure and the transportation of manganese across the blood-brain barrier also be excluded.
