MDL Plaintiffs Move to Strike Specific Pathological and PET Scan Testimony

CLEVELAND -- Plaintiffs involved in the Welding Rod Products Liability Litigation MDL have filed motions to exclude pathological testimony and testimony relating to PET scans. In re: Welding Rod Products Liability Litigation MDL, No. 1535 (N.D. Ohio).
In separate motions filed March 25 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the plaintiffs contend that testimony relating to specific pathological evidence and diagnostic methods violate admissibility rules.
In their petition to exclude testimony relating to pathology, the plaintiffs contend that defense experts have agreed that manganese can damage the substantia nigra pars compacta.
