Defendants Seek Order Require Disclosure of Non-MDL Plaintiffs' Diagnoses Info

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - Defendants in the silica MDL have moved the court to issue an order requiring plaintiffs counsel to disclose information regarding the circumstances surrounding the diagnoses of their non-MDL clients. In Re: Silica Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1553 (S.D. Texas).
The motion, filed March 8 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, asks Judge Janis Graham Jack to require plaintiffs' counsel to disclose documents and information pertaining to non-MDL Mississippi and Texas plaintiffs' b-reads, X-rays, diagnosing reports, pulmonary function tests, screening records and exposure histories.
