CLEVELAND -- Defendants in the Welding Rod Products Liability Litigation MDL have filed a reply in support of their motion to exclude Parkinson's disease testimony, claiming that the plaintiffs' opposition simply seeks to blur the definition of the disease. In re: Welding Rod Product Liability Litigation, Docket No. 1535 (N.D. Ohio).
In a Feb. 1 reply filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the defendants argue that the plaintiffs had no problem recognizing Parkinson's disease as a distinct form of parkinsonism before the underlying motion to exclude Parkinson's disease testimony was filed.
