Conspiracy, Failure to Warn Alleged in Mississippi Silica Cases Set for Trial

PORT GIBSON, Miss. - Trial dates have been set for two multi-plaintiff silicosis cases filed recently in Mississippi, marking the first such settings among a flood of cases filed throughout the state in the past year.
The cases, styled Green v. Clark Sand Co., et al., No. 2002-131, and Glass, et al. v. Clark Sand Co., et al., No. 2002-93 have been assigned trial dates in 2003 - Green on May 6, and Glass on June 24. The claims are currently pending in Claiborne County Circuit Court.
