Plaintiff Files Motion to Preclude American Optical from Mentioning 3M Masks to Jurors

BEAUMONT, Texas - A plaintiff in a case set for trial this month has moved to prevent a respirator defendant from suggesting to jurors that he used a competitor's disposable respirator product while sandblasting. Urieta, et al. v. Sermatech International Incorporated, et al., No. E-0165082 (Texas Dist. Ct., Jefferson Cty.).
Santiago Urieta filed the motion to exclude evidence Jan. 12 in Jefferson County District Court, where his trial was set to get underway on Jan. 24.
