ANGLETON, Texas -- Plaintiffs in a welding rod case slated for trial this month have moved to quash the defendants' attempt to depose local media outlets. Presler, et al. v. The Lincoln Electric Co., et al., No. 23472 (Texas 23rd Dist. Ct., Brazoria Cty.).

The motion was filed Dec. 27 in the Texas 22nd District Court for Brazoria County Plaintiffs claim that the notices of intent to take depositions of seven Texas media outlets were filed past the discovery deadline and would not lead to discovery of admissible evidence.
