MDL Defendant: Plaintiffs' Silicosis Diagnoses Are Fraudulent

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - Defendants in two multi-plaintiff Mississippi silica cases have moved for partial summary judgment, claiming that a radiologist who diagnosed the plaintiffs with silicosis stated in a recent deposition that the diagnoses were false. In Re: Silica Products Liability Litigation, MDL Docket No. 1553 (S.D. Texas).

In a motion filed Nov. 3, the defendants argue that diagnoses reports recently submitted to the Silica Products Liability MDL are fraudulent and that the radiologist indicated during an Oct. 29 deposition that he intended to withdraw them.
