Mississippi Judge Recused in Welding Rod Lawsuits

JACKSON, Miss. -- The Mississippi Supreme Court has recused Judge Billy Joe Landrum in two pending welding rod lawsuits. In re: BOC Group Inc. and AirGas-Gulf States Inc., No. 2003-M-01341 & 03140 (Miss. Sup. Ct.).

In a one-page order issued Oct. 8, the state's high court said that the petition filed by defendants in support of Judge Landrum's recusal in the two lawsuits pending in the Mississippi Circuit Court for Jones County was well taken.
