INDIANAPOLIS - The court overseeing the management of several silica cases filed in Marion County Superior Court have issued two standing orders that are intended to efficiently manage common pretrial issues among cases pending in the county's silica docket. In Re: Marion County Silica Litigation, No. 49D02-9801-MI-001-222 (Ind. Super. Ct., Marion Cty.).

The orders were entered Aug. 13 by Judge Kenneth H. Johnson and will apply to the nearly one dozen silica personal injury cases that were assigned July 30 to Marion County's Superior Court Two in an effort to 'better ensure the uniform management of silica litigation in Marion …
