BEAUMONT, Texas - A Texas silica case that was removed by defendant 3M Co. just as jury selection was to get underway in state court has been set for trial in March 2005, according to papers filed recently with the federal court. Salts v. 3M Company, et al., No. 02-0294 (E.D. Texas, Beaumont Div.).
