LUCEDALE, Miss. - Plaintiffs in a Mississippi silica case have again asked a state court judge to order defendants to physically produce samples of their products so that they may be able to identify those that caused their alleged injuries. Allen, et al. v. Clark Sand Company, et al., No. 2002-342-(3) (Miss. Cir. Ct., George Cty.).
According to a motion filed Aug. 6 in George County Circuit Court, plaintiffs have requested a second so-called 'MaskFest,' a term coined in reference to a single discovery event where plaintiffs can review actual silica-related products manufactured by defendants named in their suit. The …
