Silica Defendant Notices Resumption of Screening Company Deposition

CLEVELAND - After several postponements, the deposition of an Alabama-based X-ray screening company used by plaintiffs in Ohio to examine potential plaintiffs for silicosis and asbestosis cases will get underway later this month. Couts v. American Optical Corp., et al., No. 466469 (Ohio Comm. Pls., Cuyahoga Cty.).
According to documents filed Aug. 13 in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas, defendant U.S. Silica Co. has noticed the resumption of deposition for Respiratory Testing Services President Charles E. Foster.
