BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Two plaintiffs who previously filed complaints in Alabama Circuit Court alleging injury as a result of exposure to silica have re-filed their claims in federal court. Chancellor, et al. v. Air Liquide America Corp., et al., No. 04-2554 (N.D. Ala.).

Sidney S. Chancellor and John L. Park, both of Alabama, filed a lawsuit Aug. 26 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, naming dozens of defendants they say are responsible for causing their silica-related diseases.
