ST. LOUIS -- A Missouri Circuit Court Judge has denied another motion made by defendants for issuance of commissions relating to the Gulf Coast Screenings, the second such ruling made in regard to the welding rod medical screenings in as many months. Edwin, et al. v. A.O. Smith, et al., No. 012-10337 (Mo. Cir. Ct., St. Louis).
In a ruling issued Aug. 24, Judge John J. Riley of the Missouri Circuit Court for the City of St. Louis determined that the materials defendants sought were developed under the pretense of confidential medical research.
