Indiana Executive Committee Assigns Silica Litigation to Single Trial Division

INDIANAPOLIS - A state court judicial committee in Indiana has issued an order directing the court of clerk to file all silica and silica-related personal injury cases in one judicial division. In Re: Marion County Silica Litigation, No. 49D02-9801-MI-001-222 (Ind. Super. Ct., Marion Cty.).

According to an order issued July 30 from the Executive Committee of Marion County Superior Court, the decision to direct all cases to Superior Court Two, Civil Division was prompted by efforts to 'better ensure the uniform management of silica litigation in Marion County, Indianapolis, Indiana.'
