WABASHA, Minn. - Plaintiffs in a Minnesota silica case have responded to a summary judgment motion filed on behalf of several sand suppliers, claiming that contrary to defense assertions, each of the former foundry workers has been diagnosed with silicosis. Blattner, et al. v. AIMCOR, et al., No. C6-02-148 (Minn. Dist. Ct., Wabasha Cty.).
In an opposition filed June 18 in the Wabasha County District Court, the plaintiffs maintain that their claims are accompanied by evidence of silica-related injury sufficient to defeat the sand suppliers' motion for summary judgment.
