New Welding Rod Complaints Filed in Illinois in Recent Months

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - Six new complaints were recently filed in Illinois, all alleging that defendants knew and hid the dangers of manganese of welding fumes, effectively putting the plaintiffs at risk for developing future neurological disorders. Evans, et al., v Lincoln Electric Company, et al., No. n/a (Ill. Cir. Ct., Madison Cty.).
The latest complaint, filed in May in the Illinois Circuit Court for Madison County, also alleges that the defendants participated in trade organizations to conceal scientific literature establishing the link between welding rod fumes and neurological injury
