DALLAS - A jury in Texas has returned a defense verdict for 3M Company in a case brought by two former sandblasters who claimed they developed silicosis while wearing masks manufactured by the company, HarrisMartin Publishing is reporting. Tave, et al. v. Air Liquide America Corp., et al., No. CC-00-10906; Tijerina, et al. v. Air Liquide America Corp., et al., No. CC-00-11873 (Texas Dist. Ct., Dallas Cty. No. 5).
