Wheelabrator Moves for Summary Judgment in Six MDL Silica Cases

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - A defendant that says it sells alternatives to respiratory free silica has moved for summary judgment in several cases pending in the silica MDL. In Re: Silica Products Liability Litigation, MDL Docket No. 1553 (S.D. Texas).

In a motion filed June 4, Wheelabrator Abrasives, Inc., contends that none of the plaintiffs in six cases pending against the company in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District has identified any Wheelabrator products that could have caused their alleged injuries.
