ALAMEDA, Calif. - A plaintiff in a recently filed California lawsuit contends that his work in the proximity of welders using manganese-containing products led to his neurological impairment. Tittle, et al. v. BOC, et al., No. RG04154185 (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).

The plaintiff also alleges in the complaint filed May 4 in the California Superior Court for Alameda County that the defendants producing these manganese-containing products made false representations about the dangers of the welding products, specifically that the welding products were of merchantable quality and safe for the use for which they were intended.
