Ala. Court Extends Dismissal of Negligence Count to General Electric

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- In an order issued June 21, an Alabama federal judge extended a recent order dismissing a count of negligence against Caterpillar, Inc. to fellow defendant General Electric while also denying the plaintiff's challenge to the original dismissal. Davis, et al. v. Lincoln Electric Company, et al., No. 04-BE-0404-E (N.D. Ala.).
