PORT GIBSON, Miss. - Against the urging of plaintiffs, a state trial court judge has adopted a special master's recommendation to award summary judgment to an air compressor manufacturer that claimed it had no duty to warn sandblasters of risks associated with using its product with silica. Abbott v. Pulmosan Safety Equipment, et al., No. 2002-308 (Miss. Cir. Ct., Claiborne Cty.).
