ARTICLE: Does Environmental Exposure to Manganese Pose a Health Risk to Healthy Adults?

SUMMARY: In the study, it is noted that manganese is found to be lethal in both high and low concentrations. While noting that people exposed to manganese fumes in industrial situations have been known to develop neuropsychological changes that resemble Parkinson's disease, those exposed to manganese in low levels have experienced adverse effects as well.
