ST. LOUIS - A judge in the City Court of St. Louis has ruled that the city's court is an improper venue for a case filed by a former laborer against four dozen defendants allegedly responsible for causing his silica-related injuries. Schulte v. American Optical Corp., et al., No. 032-10438 (Mo. Cir. Ct., St. Louis Cty.).
The recent ruling transfers the claim of Kurt Schulte from the City Court to the St. Louis County Circuit Court, where defendants had sought to have the case venued shortly after being served with Schulte's complaint.
