WHEELING, W. Va. -- While the defendants in a welding rod complaint have filed a motion to stay the case pending transfer to the welding rod products liability MDL, the estimated 2,400 plaintiffs who filed the complaint have opposed the stay, arguing that the court first must rule on the plaintiffs' remand motion.
