ST. LOUIS -- A Missouri' man's welding rod injury lawsuit has been re-filed by his executrix as a wrongful death case due to the plaintiff's death. Edwin v. Airco, et al., No. 012-10337 (Mo. Cir., St. Louis).
The new complaint was filed in the Missouri Circuit Court for the City of St. Louis shortly after Andonio Edwin's April 16 death. The complaint by Executrix Karen E. Edwin alleges that Andonio Edwin's work as a welder since 1983 exposed him to manganese-laden fumes, ultimately causing his development of Parkinson's disease and his recent death.
