ST. LOUIS -- Defendants involved in Illinois and Missouri welding rod cases have reached an agreement with Brad A. Racette, M.D., in which Racette will produce records of screening patients who are involved in litigation, according to sources. Boren v. Lincoln Electric, et al., No. 042-655 (Mo. Cir. Ct., St. Louis).
The compromise occurred before an April 23 hearing on the production of documents was to take place. According to sources, Racette has agreed to turn over medical records of patients who are also litigants, but not all of his records as defendants originally requested.
