ATLANTA -- Motions to dismiss or sever claims made by several defendants involved in a Georgia consolidated welding rod docket have been suspended in an effort to allow all those defendants wishing to join in the pending motions the right to do so. Slaughter, et al., v. Lincoln Electric, et al., No. 03VS052831 (Ga. State Ct., Fulton Cty.).
Judge John R. Mather of the Georgia Fulton County State Court issued the consent order on April 15, effectively suspending the motions filed by defendants alleging improper joinder, forum non conveniens, and a failure to plead fraud and/or conspiracy with particularity.
