PHILADELPHIA -- Plaintiffs in a class action welding rod complaint have opposed a recent motion to dismiss filed by General Electric, arguing that the defendant may be held responsible for the allegedly fraudulent acts of certain welding trade organizations because of its participation in such groups. Davis, et al., v. Lincoln Electric Holding, Inc., et al., No. 04-CV-320-EL (E.D. Pa.).
The plaintiffs filed the response on March 22 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, refuting what General Electric says is a complaint that contains no specific claims asserted against the defendant.
