ATLANTA -- A Fulton County State Court judge has granted the National Electric Manufacturers Association's unopposed motion to open default after the welding rod defendant claimed a clerical error resulted in their failure to answer a complaint within 60 days. Miskimen, et al., v. Dennis Welding Supply, et al., No. 03VS052779D (Ga. State Ct., Fulton Cty.).
Granted on March 27 by the Georgia State Court for Fulton County, the order opening default allows NEMA 30 days to answer, move, and assert claims and defenses or otherwise answer the plaintiffs' complaint.
