About the Authors

Allen D. Vaughan has extensive experience and training in health physics, environmental safety & health and toxicology. After graduating with a B.S. in physics from Roanoke College, Mr. Vaughan received a M.S in Public Health from the University of North Carolina (1974) where he focused on industrial hygiene and air pollution. From 1974 to 1997, Mr. Vaughan was an industrial hygienist, the State Environmental Program Coordinator and eventually the State Regulatory Affairs Coordinator for Amoco Corporation.
