CHICAGO -- Two national trade organizations continually allowed manufacturers of welding rods to place economic interests before safety as they have been aware since 1837 of dangers the products posed to workers who used them, alleges a welding rod fume exposure lawsuit filed recently in Illinois. Dixon v. Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., et al., No. n/a (Ill. Cir. Ct., Cook Cty.).
