CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - Plaintiffs in the silica MDL have moved for partial summary judgment against Dependable Abrasives, claiming that the company should not be permitted to defend cases on the ground that its predecessor is the entity that produced or sold the products which allegedly caused plaintiffs' injuries. In Re: Silica Product Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1553 (S.D. Texas).
