Plaintiffs Dismiss Four Silica Complaints Set for June Trial in Georgia

ATLANTA - Plaintiffs have voluntarily dismissed four silica personal injury complaints scheduled for trial later this year in Georgia after allegedly missing a court-imposed deadline for responding to defendants' discovery requests. McKay v. U.S. Surface Preparation Group, Inc., et al., No. 2001CV42204 (Ga. Super. Ct., Fulton Cty.).

Sources told HarrisMartin Publishing that the four cases pending in Fulton County Superior Court were taken off the docket in late 2003, after defendants had moved to compel answers to interrogatories, which were due in July 2003.
