HOUSTON - A Texas state court judge has ordered a respirator defendant to answer several sets of interrogatories and requests for production of information related to testing performed on two devices the plaintiffs allegedly wore while working around silica dust. Prentice, et al. v. Moldex-Metric, Inc., et al., No. 2003-30149 (Texas Dist. Ct., Harris Cty.).
In an order entered Jan. 5, Harris County District Court Judge Kent C. Sullivan struck the majority of Moldex-Metric's objections to plaintiffs' first set of interrogatories and requests for production of information related to the company's Moldex 2300 and Moldex 2200 respirators.
