Los Angeles Case Added to California Coordinated Proceedings

OAKLAND -- The judge overseeing the coordinated welding rod proceedings in California granted a motion on Oct. 28 to add a Los Angeles filing to the four pending lawsuits. In re: Welding Product Cases, No. JCCP 4368 (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).

The plaintiffs in the Los Angeles lawsuit moved to join the coordinated proceedings pending before Judge Ronald M. Sabraw of the California Superior Court for Alameda County on Oct. 14, contending that their lawsuit contains the same allegations and names the same defendants as those cases pending in the coordinated docket.
