Plaintiffs Want Sanctions for Silica Defendants Seeking More Definite Statement

FAYETTE, Miss. - Two Mississippi plaintiffs are seeking sanctions against defendants who recently moved for core information and a more definite statement than plaintiffs have so far provided in their silica claims against the companies. Perryman, et al. v. Pulmosan Safety Equipment, et al., No. 2003-178 (Miss. Cir. Ct., Jefferson Cty.).

Plaintiffs Ray Perryman and Charles Day filed the motion Oct. 14 in Jefferson County Circuit Court, calling the motion for a more definite statement 'frivolous' in light of the fact that plaintiffs have already conducted discovery in the case and provided the information sought by the defendants.
